The building was constructed in 1936 AD by Mr. Abdul Qader Abdurrahman Rasheedi, at 184 square meters. The building comprises of two floors, and lavished with numerous traditional architectural elements. Moreover, it was restored and rehabilitated in 2001 by Dubai Municipality, and it currently utilized as the Headquarter of the Urban Heritage Association which undertake the noble task of preserving the heritage of the grandparents and ancestors and shedding light and preserving the urban heritage, and seeking to protect it.
