Chairman's Word

It is an honor for me to assume the responsibility of managing the Architectural Heritage Society, this association that joins hands to launch the best sons of this generous country in this good land.

And based on the saying of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan: “He who has no past has no present and no future.” And the strategic plan of the UAE, which states: We possess a rich and cultural heritage that forms our national identity, of which we are proud of and cherish.
The Architectural Heritage Society, which started as a dream, then an idea, then became a reality, contributes to preserving the cultural and Architectural heritage in all parts of the country.

Since we own more than 3,500 archaeological and historical sites on the land of this beloved country, preserving these historical and heritage sites relies on all of us. Accordingly, our vision in the Architectural Heritage Society was a "living heritage with a future vision", which aims to contribute to the preservation, documentation and rehabilitation of the Architectural heritage of the United Arab Emirates and the dissemination of heritage awareness about it by working with various local and international bodies concerned with heritage, relying on teamwork and coordinating efforts with specialists and those interested in the Architectural heritage of our beloved country.

Our various activities and events testify to the importance of the role we play in this field, which include lectures, scientific seminars, visits and field trips to heritage and archaeological sites inside and outside the country, in addition to workshops and training courses and the issuance of books and publications concerned with Architectural heritage.

I extend my appreciation and thanks to the sponsors, all the collaborators, volunteers and members of the Society  for their support around it and their continued support.
